Miki Matsuda is a Japanese-Brazilian multidisciplinary fashion designer from São Paulo, based in London. Her practice explores identity, femininity and cultural duality through sustainable design, textile innovation and storytelling. Working primarily with silk, silk jersey and reclaimed materials, she combines upcycling and textile manipulation to transform existing fabrics into contemporary garments.

Sustainability is central to her approach, focusing on extending material lifecycles, repurposing textiles and exploring the creative potential of deadstock silk and knitwear. Her work challenges conventional perceptions of femininity and garment construction, balancing conceptual depth with wearability.

Matsuda holds an MA in Fashion from Central Saint Martins, and her work has been featured in Dazed, British Vogue and Issue Magazine.
